Account Deletion Request

This page explains how to request deletion of your Touri Taxi account. Entering an email or phone here does not delete an account by itself; verification via support or in-app confirmation is required. Account deletion does not mean all data is erased: unnecessary personal account data is removed, while some trip, transaction, and settlement records may be retained when retention is required or lawful.

1) Delete from the app (preferred)

Open Touri Taxi or Touri Taxi Driver and sign in.
Go to Profile / Settings.
Choose Delete account and complete the confirmation and identity steps.
After verification, unnecessary personal account profile data is removed; trip and accounting records are not modified.

2) Web request (if you no longer have the app)

Select account type (customer or driver).
Enter the email or mobile number linked to the account.
Submit the request. Support will verify ownership before any deletion.
You may be asked to prove account ownership before execution.

Personal account data typically removed

Unnecessary profile data (such as display name, email, phone, profile photo).
Saved addresses and app preferences.
Device notification tokens (FCM).
Saved in-app payment methods when they are not part of historical accounting records.
Removable personal storage files (such as a profile photo), except where retention is required.

Records that may be retained

Trip/order records with amounts, prices, commissions, tax, and related payment status.
Wallet ledgers, transactions, settlements, payouts, invoices, accounting entries, and audit logs.
Driver or customer identity linked to those historical records when needed for accounting, disputes, or compliance.
Support, dispute, and safety tickets when retention is needed for investigation or compliance.
Driver identity/vehicle documents in storage until a clear legal retention policy is approved.
